Any time I make pork tenderloin or potato pancakes, I have to make applesauce. The combination creates my perfect bite.
PS. Don’t mind the picture…it’s not that easy to make apple sauce look good when you’re already just trying to find the time to cook 🙂
Ingredients:
- 3 apples (I like gala or cortland), peeled, cored and cubed
- 1 t cinnamon
Directions:
- Place apples in a saucepan with a little water (about half way to the top of the apples) on med heat and cover with a lid
- Cook apples for about 8 min or until tender
- Add cinnamon and stir
- Use and immersion blender and puree until smooth (any type of blender will do)
This recipe will be great to keep on hand for apple picking season!
